Cookie policy
In force from 20 October 2026.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. The browser's storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way, and our site mostly uses that. Everything the site stores is listed below.
2. Necessary (always on)
Without these, choosing a language, the cart and ordering would not work, so they need no consent:
- mp_locale – your chosen language (a cookie, 1 year);
- mp_consent_v1 – your cookie choice (browser storage);
- mp_cart_v2 – the contents of your cart (browser storage);
- mp_checkout_draft – what you typed in the order form, so it is not lost when you change language or come back from the bank (this tab only; deleted after the order);
- mp_address_pick – the address you chose in the delivery check, which fills in the order form (this tab only);
- mp_customer_v1 – your name, phone, email and address, only if you tick “Remember my details on this device” (browser storage; the door code is never stored);
- mp_last_order and mp_order_attempt – your last order, so it is not sent twice and the cart is emptied after it (browser storage);
- mp_closing_pill – where on a phone you dragged the reminder that ordering is about to close (this tab only).
3. Third-party content
The Contacts page has a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited). It loads only when you press “Show the map”; Google may then set its own cookies under its privacy policy. Until then nothing is loaded from Google.
The address search at checkout goes through our server, so Google sets no cookies in your browser for it. When you pay online you are taken to Montonio's payment page, which has its own terms and cookies.
4. Analytics and advertising
The site currently has no analytics, advertising or other tracking cookies. If we ever add any, we will update this policy first, and they will load only with your consent (“Accept all”).
You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or by deleting the site's data in your browser settings.
